Faithful Song Maker is made by LA Interactive LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information the Faithful Song Maker mobile app and this website collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- You don't need an account. We don't ask for your name, email address, or phone number to use the app.
- The words you write are used to create your song. They are sent to the AI services that write the lyrics and produce the music.
- Your songs are backed up to our cloud storage so your Library is kept safe.
- When you share a song, anyone with the link can listen to it and read its title and lyrics.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
What you write and create
When you create a song we collect the text you write (for example a prayer, a verse, or a note to someone), the style and feeling you choose, and any names you include. We store the song that is created from it, including its title, lyrics, style description, and audio file.
App and device information
- A random install identifier created by the app. It is used to back up your Library, link your subscription, and provide support. It is not tied to your name or contact details.
- Basic device and app details, such as platform (iOS or Android), app version, and language.
- Usage events, such as when the app is opened, a song is created, played, or shared, and when a subscription screen is viewed.
- If you allow it, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android). On iOS we ask for permission first through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Purchase information
Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details. We receive subscription status (for example plan, trial, renewal, or cancellation) from Apple or Google through our subscription provider.
This website
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request information such as your IP address and browser type. Fonts and scripts are loaded from Google Fonts and the jQuery CDN, which also receive this request information.
How we use your information
- To create your songs and keep them in your Library.
- To play songs you share through a link on this website.
- To manage subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To understand how the app is used, fix problems, and improve it.
- To measure which of our marketing campaigns lead to app installs.
- To respond to support requests.
- To prevent abuse and comply with the law.
Service providers we use
We share information only with providers that help us run Faithful Song Maker, and only for that purpose:
- OpenAI writes the song lyrics, title, and style from what you write.
- fal.ai (running Google's Lyria music model) produces the song audio.
- Amazon Web Services stores and delivers your song audio files.
- MongoDB Atlas stores song details and app usage data.
- Cloudflare runs the servers that the app connects to.
- RevenueCat manages subscription status.
- Airbridge measures app installs and marketing campaign performance.
- Apple and Google process purchases through their app stores.
- Heroku hosts this website.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
Shared songs
When you share a song, you create a link to a page on this website. Anyone who has the link can play the song and see its title, style, and lyrics. The text you originally wrote and your install identifier are never shown. Only share links with people you trust with the song's contents.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your songs and related information for as long as needed to provide the app, or as required by law. When you delete a song from your Library, it is removed from your Library and its share link stops working. To permanently erase your songs and associated data from our systems, email team@lainteractive.co with the subject "Data Deletion Request." Emailing us from the support option in the app's Menu includes your install identifier in the subject line, which helps us find your data. We respond within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- Tracking: you can decline or change tracking permission at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads).
- Subscriptions: you can manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Access, correction, and deletion: depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, or to object to certain processing. Email us at team@lainteractive.co to make a request. We may need to verify that the data is yours before acting on it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Faithful Song Maker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this website.
